Hi my name is Claire,
I am very excited to be delivering Developmental Baby Massage and Movement within the Hull and surrounding area. We are fully Certified and Accredited by the Federation of Prenatal Educators (FEDANT) and Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI) to teach Developmental Baby Massage from birth.
Our courses are great for babies who suffer from discomfort caused by things like colic, constipation and wind. We teach you technique to calm and reassure your infant whist remaining completely baby-led. In saying this there maybe times that your baby does not want to partake in the class, and this is completely normal. You are able to still benefit from the class even if you do nothing but feed your baby through the session and watch others. You can then practice at home in your baby’s normal environment.
We are also delivering Soft Gymnastic Play sessions from September in Hull and the surrounding areas, please ensure you are following us on social media for dates and times when this will start.
I have trained and worked as a Level 3 adult support worker in the Hull & East Riding area for many years. I live with my husband and 4 children and I am very excited to be bringing Developmental Baby Massage and Soft Gymnastic Play sessions to the area.
My training with the International School of Developmental Baby Massage and Movement will enable me to teach the primary preparation for sitting and standing using gravity assisted techniques for stronger structural foundations. This is by focusing on the transitions from sitting positions to squatting, crawling, standing and eventually walking.
All our Instructor’s trained for Developmental Baby Massage are Certified and Accredited by the Federation of Prenatal Educators (FEDANT) and Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI) to teach Developmental Baby Massage from birth.
We feel strongly about the parent-baby relationship and our Newborn course allows parents to socialise in a course environment with other parents whilst learning thoroughly research techniques on how to effectively soothe your baby. These techniques also aid in setting the foundation for successful infant joint flexibility, muscular strength and coordination. All whilst improving your baby’s circulatory, respiratory rhythms, back strength and overall muscle tone.
